State Fair Adopts New Barcode System .
nailing down new safety and security measures just a few days before the fairgrounds open. This year they're adding a barcode to tickets and passes to help count fair-goers and keep out potential counterfeiters. General Manager Ralph Shoptaw showed his badge and other tickets that now have bar codes. He says in years past they've had problems with counterfeiters and people trying to pass off their tickets for re-use. "They had to take the ticket and look at it and observe it to make sure it was not counterfeit. Now if it doesn't scan, it's a bad ticket," says Shoptaw.
