Tier 1 Smart Card Manufacturer to Integrate IDEX’s TrustedBio Sensors

IDEX Biometrics’ new TrustedBio line of products is already generating interest with smart card manufacturers. The company has announced that it has formed a supply agreement with a “tier 1 smartcard manufacturer,” which will be integrating TrustedBio sensors into an upcoming line of next-generation smart cards. The news comes only one day after the TrustedBio line was officially unveiled. TrustedBio is a biometric-system-on-chip solution that was designed to reduce manufacturing costs by negating the need for a standalone sensor and any supplemental electronic components.
