Shift4 Payments introduced a new, contactless payment technology called QR Pay. The technology allows consumers to pay their bill at restaurants, retail stores and hotels by simply scanning a QR code on the receipt or payment terminal and completing the transaction on their phone. There is no additional charge for Shift4 clients to implement QR Pay at their business.
This solution is fully integrated with a number of leading point-of-sale (POS) and property management systems (PMS) to provide a seamless checkout experience. QR Pay will also add support for loyalty functionality and full ordering capabilities in upcoming software updates.(see above).
