Google Pay gets support for NFC-based card payments

In 2019 Google announced that it was planning to bring support for card payments to Google Pay in India. The company has now started rolling out support for NFC-based credit and debit card payments for the Indian users. Google Pay supports only a handful of credit and debit cards at the moment. According to the support page, users can only add Axis Bank Visa Credit, Axis Bank Visa Debit, and SBI Visa Credit Cards to Google Pay.
