Klein ISD Launches SMART ID Card System

Klein Independent School District in Texas will begin using a new ID card system for the 2021-2022 school year featuring SMART cards that will offer new benefits to students, faculty, and parents.

The cards’ scanning capabilities will include payment for school meals and quick access to checking out library books. Students who ride the bus to and from school will be required to scan their cards to enter and exit school buses.
