Junction 4 Pallets and Tracworx develop RFID-based tracking solution

UK-based pallet services provider Junction 4 Pallets has partnered with Irish tech firm Tracworx to introduce a new asset management system designed to track and manage returnable transport items (RTIs) more efficiently.

Founded by Chris Kelly, Fionn Barron, and Eoin O’Brien, Tracworx brings its expertise in real-time asset tracking to the logistics sector with a solution aimed at reducing losses, improving turnaround times, and streamlining maintenance for high-value packaging assets.

The system leverages radio-frequency identification (RFID) technology to monitor reusable plastic containers in real time, offering Junction 4’s clients greater visibility over their goods in transit. By enabling live tracking from any location, the platform enhances stock accuracy, boosts transparency across supply chains, and reduces administrative overhead.

This innovation supports companies in safeguarding their packaging assets while optimizing logistical efficiency.
