STMicro Launches Software to Get STM32H5 Devices Talking to Azure IoT Hub
STMicroelectronics has launched new software for those looking to use STM32H5 microcontrollers with Microsoft's Azure IoT Hub or Amazon's AWS IoT Core — tying both services into its own Secure Manager platform.
The STM32Cube ecosystem helps developers unleash its powerful capabilities, accelerate development, connect securely to the powerful storage and data-analytics services in the AWS cloud [and] by using the STM32Cube reference implementation developers can take advantage of the powerful services offered by the Azure IoT Hub to transform the data collected from their devices into actionable insights.
The company's new secure connectivity system ties in to the STMicro Secure Manager, and claims to remove a thorny step from the production process: the need to keep universally unique device identifiers secret during production. Instead, everything is handled automatically — yet still securely, the company claims.
