Chuck E. Cheese's To Replace Tokens With Semnox's RFID Cashless System
Chuck E. Cheese's is hoping to replace the tokens used to activate its arcade games with a cashless payment system at all its stores. It reportedly is using Semnox Solutions' radio frequency identification (RFID) system for the job. As of late August, wireless payment and tracking systems have been installed at 100 of the pizza-arcade locations nationwide. CEC Entertainment, the chain's parent company based here, operates about 600 venues, most of them in the United States.
