Thinfilm Joins NFC Forum Board of Directors

NFC Forum announced that ThinFilm Electronics ASA (“Thinfilm”) upgraded its NFC Forum membership from Principal to Sponsor and accepted a seat onthe NFCForum Board of Directors. Three other companies joined the world'sleading standards and advocacy association for Near Field Communication(NFC) technology as well.

Thinfilm has been a Principal member of the NFC Forum since 2014 and will join Apple, Dai Nippon Printing, Google, Infineon, MasterCardWorldwide, NXP, Qualcomm, Samsung, Sony, STMicroelectronics and Visa on the NFC Forum Board of Directors. Thinfilm’s elevated position willallow it to expand on its technical and marketing contributions to theNFC Forum assuming a greater leadership role in the organization.
