Luton first to activate Internet of Bins QR Code

Luton Borough Council is the first local authority in the UK to directly link the new QR codes on their SSI Schaefer ‘IoB’ (Internet of Bins) bins to their waste and recycling page on their website. SSI Schaefer hopes it will be particularly useful for any new houses on new developments in Luton to help educate and inform new residents on how to recycle and when to place their bin out for collection.
