RedRock Biometrics Teams with China-based Barcode Scanning Specialist

RedRock Biometrics is poised to help Shanghai-based FalconPro expand beyond the barcode technology in which it specializes. The former is known for its PalmID technology, which is designed to use an RGB or infrared camera to scan end users’ palm vein biometrics.

The specific applications to which this project is ultimately aimed aren’t yet clear, the companies’ announcement noted that FalconPro’s barcode scanning products are widely used in industries including mobile payemnts, healthcare, and self-service equipment.
