QR code system launched for contact tracing in Melbourne
Melburnians are set to return to offices today as the Victorian Government launches its new contact tracing app that will provide a universal QR code check-in for businesses.
From today, 25 per cent of non-essential workers will be permitted to go back to the office under one of the final steps in creating a COVID-normal across the city.
The Victorian Government's newly launched QR Code Service can be used by businesses and venues to keep records of visitors, however a number of workplaces have already set up their own system.
