Iris Smart Ring with blood pressure sensor now available
Iris has launched an Indiegogo InDemand campaign for its smart ring following its successful Kickstarter campaign earlier this year. You can use the wearable to track your heart rate and blood oxygen level, with blood pressure and skin temperature features coming in 2024.
According to the current web page context, the Iris Smart Ring is a wearable device that can track metrics such as heart rate, HRV, and blood oxygen level with a six-photodetector 18 LED PPG sensor. The device has a medical-grade thermometer and blood pressure sensor, which differentiates it from its competitor Oura; however, these tools will not be accessible until an OTA update is released in mid-2024.
The Iris Smart Ring is now available to pre-order following a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. Over 4,000 units of the wearable were sold during the campaign, which launched in February, generating over US$650,000.
