RFID COS Tunnel Enables Automated Logistics Verification
Clustag, a specialist in RFID technology, has introduced COS Tunnel, a new open-architecture RFID tunnel designed to be installed over existing conveyor systems. The solution enables the automatic identification and verification of boxes, bags and parcels in real-world logistics operations.
With COS Tunnel, Clustag is expanding its RFID portfolio for distribution centres. The solution is particularly suitable for projects where companies want to integrate RFID technology into existing infrastructure with minimal modifications, while reducing installation time and accelerating the return on investment.
Clustag officially presented COS Tunnel at RAIN in Action Madrid 2026, an international event focused on RAIN RFID technology.
“The goal was not simply to introduce a simpler version of our existing solutions. We wanted to expand our portfolio with a different proposition. COS Tunnel has been developed for projects where flexibility, fast integration and minimal impact on existing infrastructure are the key priorities,” said Manolo Reguart, CEO of Clustag.
COS Tunnel is designed to be installed above an existing conveyor and can be configured according to the requirements of each application, including conveyor width, height and operating configuration.
The system features an innovative RFID signal emission and reading-zone control technology developed by Clustag’s R&D team. By concentrating RFID readings within the parcel transit area, the technology is designed to improve reading reliability under real-world operating conditions.
The captured data can be connected to existing warehouse and logistics management systems, including WMS, ERP, WCS and WES, through Clustag’s ZENTUP data capture platform.
