However, today brings a rare exception. Build 22635.3420, freshly released for testing in the Beta Channel, includes a built-in QR code generator to simplify sharing links and files.

With Windows 11 build 22635.3420, users can now generate QR codes alongside the familiar Copy Link option when sharing files or URLs. This enhancement streamlines transferring content from a computer to a phone, especially for iPhone users. Unlike Android smartphones with their feature-rich Phone Link integration, iPhones have been less friendly toward Windows PCs.
