Zebra Ventures Invests in Xemelgo to Boost Smart Automation

Zebra Technologies, through its investment arm Zebra Ventures, has made a strategic investment in Xemelgo, a company that develops cloud-based RFID software tailored for manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Xemelgo is already a Zebra Premier ISV Partner, and its software is designed to integrate seamlessly with Zebra’s hardware portfolio—including RFID readers, mobile computers, and printers. Together, they offer customers plug-and-play solutions that provide real-time insights and eliminate manual tracking.

Xemelgo’s software has already been deployed at over 100 manufacturing facilities, serving high-profile customers such as Yamaha and SEKISUI Aerospace. The company’s solutions help track assets, tools, inventory, and work-in-progress in real-time.

Zebra’s own research shows that 92% of manufacturers view digital transformation as a top priority. This investment reflects Zebra’s commitment to providing integrated, intelligent automation tools to meet that need.
