Omegro Acquires Clarity, a Supply Chain RFID Platform

Omegro, which is part of Constellation Software, has acquired Clarity, a radio-frequency identification (RFID) platform designed for supply chain operations. The acquisition was announced today and is confirmed by both Omegro and SML Group Limited, the seller.  

RFID technology offers enhanced product visibility and contributes to making supply chains more resilient—especially important in times of global trade uncertainty. 

ClarityRFID, previously marketed as SML IIS, has been rebranded and includes a range of capabilities. These span from inventory tracking and supply chain management to customer interaction enhancements such as smart fitting rooms and point-of-sale technologies. 

ClarityRFID now operates as a distinct entity under SML. It supports global brands with deployment across thousands of stores and hundreds of millions of unique items tracked weekly.
