TNG eWallet expands QR scan feature beyond payments

TNG Digital Sdn Bhd has rolled out an upgraded QR scan function in its TNG eWallet app, extending its use beyond payments. Users can now scan QR codes for menus, forms, tickets, and other purposes directly within the app—without needing a separate scanner.

The company said this update complements TNG eWallet’s wide range of services, which already include e-commerce, bill payments, investments, insurance, and cross-border remittances. The move further strengthens the app’s position as a versatile everyday tool for Malaysians.

Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital, noted that the change may seem small but carries a big impact. “Our aim is to make life more connected and convenient. With just one app, Malaysians can do so much more in their daily lives,” he said.
