Datalogic 2128P RFID Sled delivers unmatched UHF RFID reading, writing and locating capabilities

Datalogic introduces the new 2128P RFID hand held reader to its RFID family of products.
This new device expands the capabilities of the Memor 10 PDA, adding UHF RFID reading, writing and locating capabilities and delivering even more value from this innovative device.

The reader boasts 34 dBm of maximum RF output power extending the nominal read range to 9 meters; this provides a 33% longer read range than other similar units on the market. When connected with the Memor 10 PDA, the combination makes it easier than ever to increase the accuracy of inventory in Retail, Transportation & Logistics, Manufacturing and Healthcare applications.

The device also offers sophisticated user feedback, embedded processes and accelerometers. These features make the RFID reader highly configurable and compliment its "search and find" capability, the most in-depth currently available on the market. Enhanced visual and audio indicators help locating hard to find RFID tagged assets. In addition, the system incorporates tag de-duplication software that automatically removes any duplicated tag reads instantly, improving reading performance and facilitating data flow.
