NEXT Biometrics and WizCard Partner to Develop New Smart Card Tech

NEXT Biometrics is teaming up with Taiwan-based WizCard to develop biometric smart card technologies, the companies have announced. The partnership will leverage each company’s respective strengths. NEXT Biometrics is, of course, a renowned fingerprint sensor specialist; while WizCard offers Build-In Module design services for smart card makers, distinguishing itself with display technologies for payment cards and other card solutions. The latter can facilitate the use of One-Time Passwords and dynamic CVVs, which, together with NEXT’s fingerprint recognition technology, can deliver card solutions supporting a high level of security.
