We all know supermarket products come with a barcode - but haven't you ever spotted something strange about Aldi's? The supermarket giant, which opened its first store in the UK right in Birmingham, has a secret. The retailer gives all its products a barcode - but usually, MORE than just one. For instance, toilet rolls boast not one but four barcodes. Using multiple barcodes means that whichever way the assistant holds the product the scanner will register it.
