New Casio G-Shock GBA-950 watch with GPS feature
Casio has officially launched the new G-Shock GBA-950 series in Japan, a sports-focused smartwatch that blends rugged design with smart tracking features. Available in three colorways—black (GBA-950-1A), purple/black (GBA-950-2A), and white/gray (GBA-950-7A)—the watch combines G-Shock toughness with modern fitness tracking.
The GBA-950 connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth and works with the Casio Watches app, enabling features like GPS-based distance tracking, step counting, pace measurement, calorie tracking, and an auto-lap function. Multiple digital displays show metrics such as workout intensity and goal progress, while dual time zone support, a stopwatch, countdown timer, and daily alarms round out its utility.
Made from durable resin and water-resistant up to 20 ATM, the GBA-950 has an expected battery life of two years. The new models are now available in Japan for ¥25,300 (approximately $176). Casio has not yet announced if or when the GBA-950 will be released internationally.
