Google Wallet Launches in Pakistan with Broad Card Issuer Support

Google Wallet is now live in Pakistan, launching with support from seven card issuers, with four additional issuers set to join soon.

The initial seven issuers enabling Google Wallet include Bank AlFalah, Bank of Punjab, Faysal Bank Noor, HBL, JazzCash, Meezan Bank, and UBL.

Allied Bank, Easypaisa Digital Bank, JS Bank, and Zindigi have also committed to supporting the service and are expected to go live in the near future.

Expanding Digital Payments in Pakistan“Pakistan’s digital payments landscape is evolving rapidly, and as more people embrace digital transactions, Google Wallet offers a secure, seamless, and efficient way to pay, shop, and travel,” said Farhan Qureshi, Google’s country director for Pakistan.
