SuperCom Expands into 20th New U.S. State with New Electronic Monitoring Contract in Illinois
SuperCom, a global provider of secure solutions for the e-Government, IoT, and Cybersecurity sectors, has secured a direct county-level electronic monitoring contract in Illinois to support a county sheriff's office in launching its newly established work-release program. The agency selected SuperCom's PureOne GPS technology to monitor participants while they are outside the county jail as part of the program. This contract marks SuperCom's first in the state of Illinois and expands the Company's U.S. footprint to 20 new states since mid-2024.
Training and deployment are scheduled to commence in October 2026, with PureOne serving as the program's electronic monitoring platform from launch. The contract was awarded following standard field tests and will follow a recurring revenue model.
