Carwash celebrates sale of four millionth RFID tag

Tidal Wave Auto Spa, located in Peachtree City, Georgia, sold DRB Systems’ four millionth FastPass RFID Tag, according to a press release. Scott Blackstock, owner of Tidal Wave, attributes more than 20 percent of the wash’s customer growth to the monthly pass program, stated the release. DRB Systems introduced the FastPass Wireless Acceptance System in 2006, reported the release, which uses RFID technology to automate wash menu selections, payment options and reduce lengthy wait times for frequent, on-the-go customers.
