Firm offers training on barcode

GS1 Tanzania has embarked on an ambitious countrywide entrepreneurship training to enable entrepreneurs, particularly in the agricultural sector, to start businesses and use the barcode technology to penetrate the local and international markets. According to GS1 Tanzania Chief Executive Officer, Ms Fatma Kange, the organisation is partnering with Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS), Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA), as well as Business Registration and Licensing Agency (BRELA), to jointly train entrepreneurs in the country.
