Montreal tests transit mobile payments

Montreal's public transit network has begun testing Android-based NFC mobile payments on some of its buses and trains thanks to a partnership with Suretap, a wallet provider owned by the major wireless network operators in Canada. The Société de transport de Montréal will terst the new system with a few hundred employees.
