Garcia rolls out digital product passports across its product range
Dutch jeans brand Garcia has announced plans to equip every garment in its collection with a digital product passport (DPP), allowing shoppers to access detailed sustainability information.
Starting with the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, each garment will include a care label featuring a QR code that provides instant access to key product details, Garcia stated.
Mark Hommelberg, CEO of JOG Group, Garcia’s parent company, acknowledged the complexity of integrating DPPs across the entire collection development process. “It was a significant challenge, but thanks to the dedication of the Garcia team and our business partners, we made it happen,” he said.
